Clydie King is probably best known as one of the most prolific session singers in history. She's worked for everyone from Ray Charles (she was part of his backing group, the Raelettes for three years) to Bob Dylan.
Clydie released a string of singles, beginning with her own group "Little Clydie and the Teens" before singing back up vocals on some of the biggest hits to ever grace the charts, including "Sweet Home Alabama" from Lynyrd Skynyrd.
